Looking for basic color correction, lighting, cropping, etc. done by someone that knows what they're doing.

If you go to http://pctutorials.at3host.com you can download a small free edition program called Irfanview. There's a download link in the graphics section, plus several tutorials on cropping , resizing, and special effects. I wrote the tutorials, they're all free, including the short videos and more are on the way. Once you see how easy it is to do it you'll want to do something to every photo. Another program I found yesterday, but have not had a chance to try is: Photo Toolkit

http://www.photo-toolkit.com/

I understand it's free.

Here's another site with stuff that could be incorporated in Photo Tool kit, but being flogged off as stand-alone items. I understand this stuff is also now free, but that I have yet to find out. I have 29 days to go to see what happens. There is no way to pay for the stuff on the web page and they say it's free, so I guess it is.

  2. Steve,

The least expensive way to get the colour, lighting and cropping done correctly is in the camera.

It costs between $50 and $150 per hour to have this work done and it will never be the quality if it is done in the camera.

Maybe someone will offer to do this for you, but in the end, it is better to re-shoot.
