Could you please suggest me which digital camera does best for the home purpose?

I would like to purchase a digital camera for home purpose and I have budget of 10,000/- . So could you please advice me which would full fill my desire? Please advice me the brand & specifications please?

I'm not sure how 10,000/- converts into USD, but I'd like to suggest a Canon Rebel XT. It's a nice hobby camera and is occasionally used by beginner-professionals. It has 8.0 megapixels (at least) and has the capability of doing what all the pro cameras can do. B&H sells it for $519 USD. (You'll need a CF card for it as well.)

    go for sony cybershot dsc w 90 its an 8.1 mp cam …..by gra coz even if u would buy with sony india warranty alll they give u is internal circuitry warrenty..so if u wet or drop it ..it would.not b incl. in da wattenty….itl cos u arnd 11000….also see a prosumer cam dsc h7 frm sony arnd 14000….its superB!!
